Her personal work is largely influenced by her surroundings and love for nature, paying attention to texture, detail, form and colour.
Drawn to the detail in nature, the colour harmonies that perfectly complement each other, how plants change with the seasons (phenology) and noticing the beauty in design.
“My photography is a lot about being out in Nature. Just being still and noticing what is around. Before I get my camera out I just wander around noticing what is there. It feels like a form of meditation for me. Being still, being connected and seeing what presents itself".
